Before I’ve Understood
I wish I had the answers
For how this works for good,
But I may never know them
Till with the Lord I’ve stood.
Yet I am fully trusting
(Because I know it’s true)
He has sufficient answers
And He will see me through.
The end and the beginning,
With all that’s in-between,
He knows with perfect wisdom –
There’s nothing He’s not seen.
And He has firmly promised
All things will work for good;
So I will firmly trust Him
Before I’ve understood.
