He gives me new strength for each step that I take,
Unfailing each promise He keeps for His sake.
The pathway before me He keeps day by day;
His word is my guidebook, my lantern, my stay.
Unerring His judgment, unchanging His plan,
He’s made no mistakes since the work He began.
His will is to make me like Jesus my Lord,
Conforming me daily by prayer and His Word.
Delighting to serve Him I trust in His love
Which guides me each day to my home up above.
To magnify Jesus my goal and my aim,
That I may adore Him and lift up His Name.
