My God is not at all surprised
By what is happening,
And though I am, I trust that He
Does right in everything.
Though storms may rage and seek to shake
Me from my hiding place,
My anchor’s fixed in God the Lord
And in His loving grace.
Because my Lord knows pain like mine
I come with bold request
That He will give abundant grace
And faith to pass this test.
