With palms the people gathered
To greet the King of kings
Who came in humble meekness
Yet true salvation brings.
With shouts and loud hosannas
They met Him as He came,
They blessed the Son of David
Who came in God’s own Name.
We join their adoration
And lift our voice to sing
To Christ our great Redeemer
Our Savior, God, and King.
Hosanna to our Savior!
He is our mighty King,
So worthy of our worship –
All praise to You we bring.
