We Thank You, Lord

For home and food and comforts,
For family, church, and friends,
For Jesus Christ our Savior
Whose mercy never ends,

For seasons and their beauty,
For love and friendship’s ties,
For God’s own Word that guides us
To gain the crown and prize,

For nature’s many colors,
For words and thoughts and hearts,
For grace and free salvation
Which God’s great love imparts,

For things that show God’s kindness,
For ways to show His love,
For lasting life and pleasures
Stored up for us above

We thank You, Lord, and praise You,
We magnify Your Name,
We sing and seek rejoicing
Your goodness to proclaim.
