Whose worth could I confess?

If You weren’t near to guide?
Who else the ages scanning
Could wisdom’s help provide?

What would I do in weakness
Without Your loving hand?
Who else God’s strength could access?
Who else could understand?

What would I do while fading
If You weren’t near with grace?
Who else my footsteps aiding
Could guide me to that place?
