Eternal God

Eternal God, the Lord of time,
To You we give our days
That all we do may honor You
And bring You lasting praise.

Redeeming God, Salvation’s Door,
To You we bring our souls
That grace might shine and show Your worth
While heaven’s glory rolls.

Providing God, our Father kind,
To You we lift our needs
That You might show Your tender love
And work Your mighty deeds.

Creator God whose hand sustains,
For You we live and die
That by our lives Your Name alone
Might be exalted high.

Lord, Thank You

Lord, Thank You

Lord, when I try to thank You
For all You’ve done for me,
There’s so much I could mention
And more I cannot see.

You made the world around me
So beautiful and bright,
To show Your love and power
And echo heaven’s light.

You send such loving blessings
To show me day by day
How well You know and love me
And guide me all the way.

You give me home and loved ones
Where I can feel Your love
With friends and church that show me
What life must be above.

You speak to me through Scriptures
So I can walk with You
To light my path and teach me
The things I ought to do.

You came to be my Savior
And wash my sins away;
You died and rose to save me,
And hear me when I pray.

You call me to a purpose –
To walk with You below,
To testify of Jesus
And share the love I know.

You tell me of the glory
That waits on heaven’s shore
Where soon I’ll see my Savior
And live forevermore.

I think of all these blessings
With thousands more beside –
Your favor and Your presence,
The way that You provide.

Lord, thank You for Your mercy
And pardon full and free,
For words to praise and bless You
For all You’ve done for me!

1 Corinthians 15:51-58

1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 51-58

Oh death, where is the bitter sting
You boasted all those years?
And grave, where is the victory
You threatened to our fears?

The sting of death was bound in sin,
And sin drew strength from law;
By seeming inescapable
They held the world in awe.

But thanks to God through Jesus Christ
The victory is ours –
He died and rose to crush the grave
With sin and all its powers

If we receive His work of grace
Then, at the trumpet blast,
We too, made incorruptible,
Shall rise to life at last.

So let us live in hope, unmoved,
And busy for the Lord,
For soon we’ll rise victorious
To find a great reward.

Jesus: Almighty, Faithful, True

Yes, He’s the Almighty, the Faithful, the True,
The Door and the Shepherd, the Savior for you,
The Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End,
Creator, Provider, Sustainer, and Friend.

Emmanuel, Jesus, Messiah, the Way,
The Lamb, Bread of life, and the Strength of our day,
The Word, the Incarnate, the Life and the Light,
Our Hope and our Anchor, our Song in the night.

Our Brother, our Master, our God, and our Lord,
The coming Defender who’s bringing reward,
The great Intercessor, the Morning Star bright,
The King, the Redeemer, the Father’s delight.

The Lion of Judah, the Seed who would win,
The Arm of Jehovah, the One without sin,
The Cornerstone, Witness, I Am, Heaven’s Heir,
The Christ, Resurrection, the Lily so rare.

The Rock of Salvation, the Image of God,
The Judge and High Priest, Son of man, Son of God,
The Author, the Captain, the Victor, the Key,
The Holy One, Yahweh, He’s all things to me.

Morning Praise

The sun is waking up again
To make the morning bright
The Lord has kept His promises
And watched me through the night

Another day is opening
To love and serve the Lord
To live for Him with every breath
He purchased and restored

Lord, help me greet the breaking dawn
With courage, hope, and praise
For You will guide the day to come
As all my former days

For Every Blessing

For every tender kindness
And blessing from above
For every gift of goodness
That shows Your perfect love

For every timely answer
That shows You hear my prayer
For every special blessing
That helps me see You’re there

For every wise direction
That keeps me far from sin
For guiding by Your Spirit
Who rules my heart within

For giving me the Bible
To teach what’s true and right
For every word of promise
That gives me strength and light

For sending Christ my Savior
To face the cross for me
For giving me salvation
Eternal, full, and free

For loved ones and for friendships
For church and all we share
For teaching me the gospel
To scatter everywhere

For beauty in creation
That shows Your strength and skill
For keeping and sustaining
According to Your will

For telling me of heaven
And endless life above
For all that You’re preparing
To show Your perfect love

For all of these, dear Father,
And so much more I raise
A heart of love and worship
That brings this thankful praise
